An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire Consultant, offering a competitive salary of £38,000 - £55,000 depending on qualifications and experience. This role is ideal for a professional with property sector experience, who is either working towards or holds a recognised third-party fire risk assessment accreditation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct fire risk assessments (Types 1-4) for commercial and residential properties
Develop fire strategies for complex buildings
Perform passive fire protection surveys and ensure compliance with Building Regulations and Approved Documents
Assess fire hazards, risks, and mitigation strategies using engineering principles
Design, install, and evaluate fire detection, suppression, and control systems
Collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality fire safety consultancy services
Key Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in fire consultancy
Experience with fire risk assessments and strategies within the property sector
Strong knowledge of relevant fire safety regulations and building codes
Working towards or holding a formal H&S qualification, such as NEBOSH
Competent in applying fire engineering principles to protect people and property
