Senior Full Stack AWS Engineer - TypeScript/Node.JS/AWS - Reading/Hybrid – Salary up to £80k Role: Senior Full Stack AWS Engineer Location: Reading/Hybrid (2 days/week onsite) Our partner is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer, with extensive AWS expertise, to join their development team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing robust full stack applications and designing, optimising and managing the AWS cloud infrastructure. If you're passionate about serverless architecture, cloud optimisation and building scalable, efficient solutions, we’d love to hear from you. Develop and maintain full stack applications with a tech stack including TypeScript, Node.js and React. Act as the go-to AWS expert, designing and implementing cloud-based solutions. Architect, deploy and manage serverless AWS infrastructure, using event-driven design for scalability and efficiency. Apply IaC practices using AWS CDK to automate infrastructure management. Provide mentorship to the team where relevant, championing best practices across DevOps & development. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality output and ensure maintainable, efficient code. Strong DevOps background with proven experience in infrastructure management. Deep knowledge of AWS services and architecture, with a focus on serverless and event-driven architecture. js and TypeScript. Expertise in network administration and AWS security best practices, alongside familiarity with observability tools and monitoring/logging solutions. Solid understanding of database systems such as PostgreSQL (RDS), OpenSearch, Redis and DynamoDB. With a salary up to £80k and the opportunity for hybrid work, supporting 2 days/week onsite, this is a permanent opportunity with significant room for growth and advancement.
