Job Title: Reception Teacher Location: Primary School, Hailsham Required Qualification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) About the Role We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Reception teacher to join a primary school in Hailsham. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing a strong foundation for young learners, helping them to develop essential skills in a nurturing and stimulating environment. This role requires a deep understanding of early year's pedagogy, and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in every child. Key Responsibilities Create and deliver creative and engaging lesson plans aligned with the EYFS framework. Cultivate a positive, nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe and valued. Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet their evolving needs. Work closely with colleagues and support staff to provide holistic learning experiences. Maintain strong communication with parents and carers, offering insights into their child's development.What We're Looking For QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with experience in EYFS. A passion for early years education and a clear understanding of child development. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Creativity and enthusiasm for providing rich learning experiences.
