Low Carbon Estates Limited is a boutique consultancy regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. We specialize in thermodynamics, including building physics, thermal energy systems, and control, as well as process engineering focused on cryogenics, steam, and both medium and low-temperature thermal applications. The business is based in Exeter but delivers commissions throughout the UK. Responsibilities Conduct detailed analysis and simulations of buildings and thermal energy systems through SBEM and other such modelling software. Design and implement control systems for thermal applications. Work on process engineering projects involving cryogenics, steam, and thermal applications. Collaborate with a team of experts to develop innovative solutions for low carbon estates. Support the development and implementation of sustainable energy solutions. Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders. Build client relationships to help the business grow. Qualifications Degree in Mathematics, Engineering (or a related field) or a HND or equivalent qualification in a related field supported by relevant industrial experience. Skills & Experience Strong understanding of thermodynamics and process engineering. At least two-year post qualification relevant work experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Excel and associated Power Applications. Additional Requirements: Personal vetting to Security Check (SC) level will be required necessitating UK residency for at least 5 years. Strong communication skills in all formats and great teamworking skills. Commitment to professional development and career growth. Full UK driving license.
