Alexander Steele Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading food manufacturer based in East Riding of Yorkshire supplying to major retailers. Due to a period of exciting growth, they are looking to appoint a Harvest Manager.
On offer:
- Up to 45k DOE
- 48 - 50 hours per week

The role:
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Harvest Manager will support the company to deliver on the planning and organisation of production and staff.
The successful candidate is tasked with the responsibility of mentoring the wider team, improving operational efficiency, and prioritising food safety.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Oversee team to achieve KPI's
- Assess decisions on recruitment and staff management
- Ensure work is carried out whilst adhering to appropriate safety protocols
- Regular attendance of daily operations meetings to plan workload
- Monitor operational statistics to ensure team members are on track
Candidate requirements:
The business is looking for an individual who ideally has experience within the food industry. You must be a strong communicator, able to work in a fast paced environment, and able to manage a varied workload.
- Experience working in a role at a similar level
- Experience managing and mentoring staff members
- Confident and assertive communication skills
