Excelsis are looking for Senior eCommerce Account Manager to join a leading digital agency based in Hertfordshire, dedicated to delivering innovative and impactful eCommerce solutions that drive success for their clients. Specialising in design, build, optimisation, and measurable digital marketing campaigns, we help for their clients unlock the full potential of their online presence.
This role will be crucial in driving the success of our eCommerce growth services while ensuring our clients receive exceptional support and innovative marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
· Understand client requirements, objectives, and business goals, and translate them into actionable plans for the operations team.
· Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and status updates to ensure clear communication and alignment with client expectations.
· Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services to existing clients.
Project Management and Execution:
· Collaborate with the operations team to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring the successful execution of eCommerce design and development projects.
· Monitor project progress, identify and address potential issues, and facilitate timely resolution.
· Coordinate with internal teams, such as designers, developers, and marketers, to ensure project requirements are met effectively and efficiently.
· Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure deliverables meet client specifications and industry best practices.
Ongoing Support and Development:
· Provide continuous support to clients post-project delivery, addressing their questions, concerns, and change requests.
· Coordinate ongoing maintenance, updates, and enhancements for eCommerce websites on various platforms, ensuring their optimal performance and security.
· Identify opportunities for system improvements and provide recommendations to clients to enhance their online presence and drive results.
Marketing Services:
· Collaborate with the marketing team to identify marketing strategies and tactics that align with client objectives.
· Assist clients in developing and implementing effective digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media initiatives.
· Track and analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role in the digital agency or web development industry.
· Solid understanding of eCommerce platforms including WordPress WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, or similar platforms.
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
· Demonstrated ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
· Technical proficiency and familiarity with web technologies, CMS platforms, and digital marketing tools.
· Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and provide actionable insights.
· Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
