Job Requirements / Description
About Crowe Crowe UK LLP is a leading professional services firm with global reach and local expertise. We are an independent member of Crowe Global, one of the top 10 accounting networks in the world, with access to more than 35,000 people in 130 countries and across 750 offices globally. Our vision is to be recognised as essential to the future success of our clients by helping them to answer tomorrow’s questions and make smart decisions that have lasting value by delivering the highest quality audit, tax, advisory and risk services. Crowe is where talented people can realise their potential, are successful and enjoy what they do by making a positive difference to our clients, communities and each other. At Crowe, our aim is to create a community where regardless of gender, identity, sexuality, race, ethnicity, education or background, everyone is valued, can flourish and achieve their full potential. About the role Following continued growth and success, we are looking to strengthen our Lead Advisory team in the Thames Valley with the addition of a Manager. This will be a broad role, encompassing deal origination, structuring and execution, research and analysis, valuation and modelling - spanning buy and sell side for UK and international businesses across all sectors. As a Manager, you will make a direct contribution within a Partner-led team, gaining exposure to a range of clients, transaction structures and business development activities in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our Thames Valley office has experienced 50% growth in headcount since March 2020 and has recently relocated to a newer and larger property to accommodate our ever-growing team of talented people. As a result of this, and our clear plans for further progress, this is a role that comes with natural opportunities for career development. There’s never been a better time to build your career at Crowe. This opportunity will suit a Manager looking for a new and exciting challenge with scope for career advancement, or possibly a strong Assistant Manager with a great technical foundation who is looking for a step up. About you You’ll have relevant transaction experience and a sound technical background with a supporting professional qualification (ACA or equivalent). You’ll enjoy the technical elements of a transaction (financial analysis, structuring, modelling, etc.) as much as the commercial elements and bring a unique perspective to both elements. Lead advisory experience in a similar market would be preferable, but other backgrounds will be considered with support available to help you settle into the role and the team. You’ll possess strong interpersonal and project-management skills and demonstrate flexibility and initiative in delivering positive outcomes for clients - working at pace whilst ensuring that the quality of your work is never compromised. Lastly, you should have the drive, ambition and motivation to learn, improve, develop, build your skills and develop your career in a cohesive, and collaborative Partner-led team. Why choose Crowe? At Crowe we understand that it is often the culture and values of a firm that are most important when looking for a new workplace. Whether working in a client facing role or a support function, we place our people at the centre of everything that we do; promoting a collaborative, inclusive and friendly culture while remaining passionate about supporting and developing our people as they build their careers. We listen to our people and adapt to their changing needs alongside the needs of our growing business. We invest in our people to help them be the best they can be. We value new ideas and innovation, and welcome people who are committed to making a difference by delivering excellent services to our people, clients and communities. At Crowe, you will find the specialist knowledge, the resources and the commitment to help you build a satisfying and rewarding career, with continued learning and development, highly competitive salaries and flexible benefits. We want to create the best environment for our people to grow and thrive and recognise the importance of offering a flexible approach to our working environment, which we would be happy to discuss with you further. Crowe is committed to equal opportunity and diversity in recruitment and employment. We value the differences that a diverse workforce brings to our organisation, driving effectiveness in our teams and providing our clients with a quality service. Entry and progression within the firm is determined solely by the application of objective criteria, personal performance and merit which is supported by a clearly defined career pathway.
