The Director of Services key role is to ensure a meaningful and valuable experience for service users, staff, volunteers and funders. They must ensure the cross-organisational influence and impact the role inherits makes a positive difference to service users and communities, and that commitments to funders and commissioners are upheld.
The role centres around three key areas:
Contractual and operational service delivery Relationship management with individual funders and commissioners The leadership and management of METRO's people whether full time, part-time, sessional or volunteer, who bring METRO services to life.
The Director of Services must be able to contribute to the wider development of the organisation by identifying opportunities for growth and improvement across the domains and our operational procedures. Additionally, a primary purpose of this Director role is to ensure that METRO services are delivered to a consistently high level of quality, relevance and impact. The Director of Services also holds our Registered Manager post responsibility within our CQC registered sexual health clinical services.
