Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Yardman We have an exciting new requirement for a counterbalance driver / Yardman to work out of a thriving workshop in Bilston starting as soon as possible on a 7:30am - 3:30pm shift Pay Rate: up to £13/hr Our Client is a market leading Manufacturing company in the Steel Industry. Requirements- What we need from you * Experience in metals-Successful candidates will have previous experience within the metal sector * Counterbalance license- Your daily duties may include the use of a counterbalance forklift truck so a license is desirable for the successful candidate. * Ability to learn new systems and ways of working- It is imperative that the successful candidate is willing to apply their skills/experience within a new and expanding merger business. * High Attention to detail- To ensure that the workshop, paperwork and operations side of the business runs safely and smoothly any successful candidate must have a high attention to detail to avoid operational errors. * Problem Solving skills - Ensuring the yard is organised, prepared for deliveries and kept in order Summary Our Client need someone who is talented, committed and highly organised to work on improving and sustaining a new operation set up within the ever-expanding business. This role is suited to a candidate with metals experience and willing to add new skills/knowledge to their repertoire within a new operations team to help with the smooth running and growth of the business. This is a progressive role that can grow into more senior levels. Our Client have lots of great things in the pipeline including moving into a brand new £9m unit in the near future. Full support will be provided including an initial training period when you start working for the company. Examples of What You Will Be Doing Right Away From the moment you start at the Company you will be hands on in the operational side of the business. You will be working under the leadership of the Operations Manager carrying out daily duties which include but not limited to: * Driving of a Counterbalance forklift to help with loading/unloading of materials * Organising yard and prioritising materials for deliveries * Receival of goods into the warehouse * Labelling of consignments * filling in paperwork accordingly If interested please click to apply or called the Recruitment Team on (phone number removed)
