Job Title: Pastry Chef / Baker
Location: Bistro near Bude
Schedule: 5 days out of 7, 9am - 5pm- DAY SHIFTS ONLY
Salary: 14 per hour plus free onsite parking, paid breaks and gym + spa usage
Due to location own transport is required- no live in available
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts for the afternoon tea menu, deli, and coffee offerings
- Develop new dessert and sweet items to enhance the menu offerings
- Ensure the quality, freshness, and presentation of all baked goods
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a cohesive menu
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a pastry chef or baker
- Proficient in baking techniques and pastry preparation
- Creativity and ability to develop new recipes
- Strong attention to detail and passion for quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
