Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House is a picturesque boutique hotel, that occupies three buildings, twoof which 19th century manor houses bursting with character. The hotel is newly refurbished with a décor based on Oxford style vintage fashion. Set amongst 3 acres of private gardens and only 2 miles from Oxford city centre Mercure OxfordHawkwell House Hotel is a beautiful country manor in the picturesque village of Iffley. A total of 77 rooms, all en-suite, are divided between two buildings, each with an entirely different character. It's a 10 minute bus ride, from the bus stop outside the hotel, to the city centre and train station, or a relaxing 35 minute walk along the riverside Thames Path National Trail, which is just steps away from the hotel.

Job Description

Chef De Partie Position Full time position £27,000 to £29,000per annum Plus service charge Free Car parking Duty meal provided Bonus Break Accor discounts Professional techniques / Production Produces and presents the dishes for the section in line with the cooking instructions and processes defined by the hotel and brand, Ensures that dishes are well presented, of a high standard and at the right temperature, Delivers dishes in good time to suit guests' wishes, Depending on the hotel, may be asked to receive deliveries, check and store merchandise, Organises his/her work and timing to suit fluctuations in guest numbers, special events and particular guests, Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment Ensures that the workplace remains clean and the safety of consumable goods by always respecting HACCP regulations, Respects the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment used, Applies the hotel's security regulations (in case of fire etc), Respects the hotel's commitments to the "Environmental Charter" (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc), Qualifications

Knowledge and ability to run a section. Ability to work without close supervision. Ability to manage Commis Chefs. Ability to produce good quality food in all sections Good oral communication. Team management skills Additional Information

Your team and working environment: As a Kitchen team member, you will be working together with Head Chef, Sous Chefs, Commis chefs and kitchen porters. Your shift will be vary and depends on the business needs. You will be required to work during the weekends. If you are the holder of other citizen passports, you will need to provide Right To Work in UK.
