NS6 £24,702 - £25,979 per annum (Pay Award Pending)
We are seeking a customer focussed individual with experience of providing housing advice to join our team in a temporary maternity cover role.

You will also be working with a great team, dedicated to delivering effective services.
What you will do in this role:
Assess housing applications in line with the Councils housing allocation policy and the Housing Act.
Provide a frontline housing service including housing advice.
To review assessments considering changes in circumstances.
Provide assistance, identifying vulnerabilities and signposting for support.
Support the wider team with administrative tasks as necessary.
Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of current legislation and good practice in relation to housing.
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
Proven experience giving housing advice to the public.
Able to work in line with policy, procedure, and legislation.
Excellent communication skills including tact, diplomacy, empathy, and patience
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Able to work well as part of a team.
Organised and able to work well to deadlines.
