Job Title: Web Solutions Engineer Location: London Remuneration: £42.31 per hour Contract Details: Temporary, 6 months Responsibilities: Deliver end-to-end tasks towards a larger goal with minimal assistance from more senior team members. Produce work of consistently high quality, demonstrating expertise in web solutions engineering. Plan and execute project work independently, managing your own priorities. Participate in design, with guidance. Identify and fix technical problems, helping the team course-correct when necessary. Address escalated issues and triage when required. Proactively suggest areas of future work for yourself and the team. Work with multiple teams to share knowledge and collaborate. Identify key stakeholders and contribute to cross-team collaboration. Coordinate timelines, goals, and objectives for assigned project component(s). Demonstrate expertise in one major skill outside of core coding. Write and test code, conduct code reviews, and provide feedback for best practises. Set up or improve test/monitoring/survey infrastructure. Contribute to documentation and adapt content based on feedback. Debug and resolve product or system issues. Skills/Experience/Education: - Code comprehension: Ability to extract relevant information from reading code. - Code health and tools: Ability to redesign or refactor code and develop tools. - Data structures and algorithms: Ability to select or design optimal algorithms and data structures. - Debugging and bug-fixing: Ability to debug, triage, and fix technical issues. - Programming for SWE: Python, React, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular Our client, a tech industry leader, is seeking a Web Solutions Engineer to join their dynamic team in London.
