Commissioning Manager

As the Commissioning Manager, you will make a difference by using your expertise in leading on two significant projects which are ‘All Age Learning Disability Strategy’ and ‘Enabling project’ , as well as the involvement of the line management of the Direct Payments Team.  What will you be doing?    On a daily basis you will ensure that the quality-of-service delivery activity and infection control measures is monitored effectively, and that timely and appropriate support and guidance is offered to care providers You will provide sound expertise, advice and information to a range of customers (councillors, senior managers, other departments etc) throughout the Council as necessary. You will support the team flexibly to respond to different work pressures  including picking up new and different areas of work as necessary The service may require you to manage a small team of commissioning officers or assistant commissioning officers to support your work
