I am looking for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join a leading Asset Management team based in central London. This team specialises in technical advisory, due diligence, building surveying, and providing strategic technical advice to a diverse and interesting array of clients. Role Overview: As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will work across various sectors, including care homes, hospitals, hotels, and schools. You will join a small but highly experienced team, where your workload will be project bias but also include some elements of professional services when called upon. Duties & Experience: Proven experience in projects within public buildings, hotels, offices, heritage, and residential sectors. Competency in services such as surveys, design and costing of remedial works, procurement, contract advice, contract administration, quality monitoring, completion certification, and defects management. Ability to provide technical advice leading to construction works, managing them contractually, commercially, and technically on-site. Extensive experience in managing large contracts (over £10m). Skilled in Commission Management, including forecasting, invoicing, and subconsultant management. Assist PFI specialists in monitoring operational public buildings and contribute to the review and production of Life Cycle Plans. Person Specification: Capable of working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experienced Building Surveyor with strong Project and Contract Management skills. Ideally MRICS qualified or working towards chartered status, with the ability to support others in their career progression. Detail-oriented with a strategic investor perspective. Excellent communication and report writing skills. Positive approach, confident in presenting and advising clients. Benefits: Basic Salary up to £65,000.
