Lifting Equipment Inspector

Lifting equipment inspector required to cover South & South East London. Our client is an equipment resource for the entertainment industry and due to expansion looking to add a mobile lifting equipment inspector to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity with room to grow in the company and work a role in the entertainment industry in a clean working enviorment. The role has a starting salary of £32,000 plus expected overtime with door to door pay (Excluding 30 minutes in the morning and evening). The client will also help you further your career with training courses and other support. Lifting Equipment Inspector - Salary & Benefits £32,000 basic salary with expected overtime on top of this Working hours of 08:00-17:00 Door to door pay except for 30 mins in the morning and evening Bonus scheme Overtime available Pension scheme 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Company vehicle Lifting Equipment Inspector - Job Overview Carry out examinations of lifting equipment and accessories in accordance with all statutory regulations for our clients and our own inventory Ensure that all company standards are upheld, in particular, working to all safety specifications and legislation. Help maintain a large inventory of hire equipment. Be actively involved in stock control, data entries, and other processes as required, from day to day. Work closely with the hire controllers and branch managers to ensure inventory is correctly processed and stored. Occasional need to work in the workshop based in South East London. Provide excellent customer service to clients when out on locations Lifting Equipment Inspector - Job Requirements Experience in a similar role would be beneficial Commutable distance to depot in South East London Full manual driving licence required for this role It is essential to hold LEEA lifting accessories & manual lifting machines with additional training offered on other items Come from an electrical or hire inspection background Willing to work the occasional weekend and work away although this is rare in the role it is a possibility. Desired skills for this role are LEEA Powered lifting machines, IPAF licence, PASMA, inspection of PPE certificate, ladder inspection and approved racking would be advantageous but not essential.
