About the Company:

Position Overview:
As an experienced Site Engineer, you ll support the Site Agent to ensure projects are well-managed and delivered on time. It is essential that you have a proven background working on civil engineering projects, especially in groundworks, drainage, and building works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out.
- Conducting initial survey and site investigation work.
- Implementing strategies discussed with management.
- Checking design plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Contributing to the management of construction works.
- Assisting in the re-measurement and valuation of the contract.
- Supporting new tendering opportunities, surveys, bulk earthworks quantities, and value engineering.
- Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
- Developing method statements and risk assessments.
- Supporting the team with additional site engineering duties as required.
Background and Experience Required:
- Degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.
- CSCS card and First Aid certificates.
- Experience in setting out and surveying is essential.
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen, with prior civil engineering experience.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills, key to building productive relationships.
- Flexibility to work in various locations across Scotland as needed.
- A valid UK driving licence.
